Working with a limited budget and onerous Cedar Park development standards, we were able to create a space that fulfilled his dreams. Enrollment has increased significantly. In addition, in the event his venture exceeds his expectations, an exit strategy was designed-in to allow the building to be easily converted to other uses for improved resale potential.
Houston-based Sun Coast Resources, a top 25 privately held company in Texas, needed to relocate their Austin facility because of the potential risk of environmental pollution at their existing location. They viewed this move as an opportunity to improve their level of service and grow their facility to better serve their customers. The development consisted of offices, a warehouse and fuel storage facility with expansion potential. Site design had to maximize the flow of trucks through the facility and accommodate routes for emergency vehicles. Fuel storage also presented environmental and life safety issues that were successfully addressed with Link Architecture's knowledge of complex regulatory codes.
Trammell Crow Company, a real estate development and investment firm, planned for an additional 225,800 sq. ft. of space to be added to the Expo Business Park. As a long time client, Sterling & Western Star Trucks is a heavy-duty truck and equipment sales and repair facility.
