Fujian Grand China, a growing restaurant chain in Texas, ordered up a new look from Link Architecture. The owner considered their food far superior to competitors and envisioned the brand to be more upscale. Working with the owner in two phases to expedite the completion of the building, the first phase focused on navigating complex structural and regulatory issues to expand and rebuild portions of the existing structure. The second phase was to extend the brand into the interior space. Today, the restaurant enjoys success in attracting patrons and making their meal an enjoyable one.
One of the largest Dodge dealerships in Austin, their growing business forced a move to a larger, more accessible location. As part of the project team assembled by their general contractor, Link Architecture quickly designed a facility that fit with their current brand image. The project included a main building to contain the sales, service and parts departments as well as other buildings housing a body shop and new car sales preparation area. A cost effective solution was created to meet the requirements of Allen Samuels Dodge and the City of Austin officials.
T-Mobile, at the time, was a new national mobile carrier looking to expand quickly. They acquired many smaller regional carriers in a short time frame and had to quickly rebrand all their newly acquired locations. Working as part of national team, we redesigned key components of the stores. We assessed the existing facilities and provided documentation for each location. Our refined process allowed us to expedite the process through various regulatory agencies across the nation.
Dripping Springs Pharmacy is a local hometown pharmacy that has served its community for generations. They provide "compounding" services which is an ageless art allowing specially trained professionals to prepare customized medications. They wanted their new location to be more visible in the growing town of Dripping Springs, Texas. Although the budget was limited, Link Architecture managed to create a brand space that expressed the small, hometown feel and customer service while making a big impression with the new location.
As a long time client, Sterling & Western Star Trucks is a heavy-duty truck and equipment sales and repair facility. They had a golden opportunity to open a showroom and repair shop in Austin to capture emerging market share. With existing competition already established, they turned to Link Architecture to quickly create their physical presence by redeveloping an existing building. We navigated them through the regulatory process with the city and various neighborhood groups. They continue to partner with us on other brands at other locations.
The North Face is a high-end retailer providing technically advanced and innovative apparel, footwear and outdoor gear. Their existing store brand perception was of an outlet store and did not support their current brand image. Bringing the outdoors experience inside the store was their top priority. This experience was brought in with main features such as a massive climbing wall. Custom display fixtures were created specifically for the retailer. A total of six nationwide locations were completed.
